Hey Guys,
Here's the scene outlines we've got so far, I thought we could use this as a base and edit our scenes as we go along. I kind of got carried away and did an outline for all of them while i had the time. Please add in anything else that I could incorporate, and any ideas in the scene write them in green and then discuss them on a discussion pages if we want to alaborate them. If something needs to be added by someone else, eg their lines, put in red so we can clearly see them! Any stagecraft stuff that needs to be created, like put on the powerpoint put in blue.

OPENING SCENE:CLASSROOM
CHARACTERS:
-the kid
-the teacher
-the bullies
*Kid starts on stage sitting down, other characters offstage
Bell rings, students come in laughing and joking around, move into "classroom" bumping into kid on the way to their seats, joking around
" So tell me everything that happened"
" Well, all the boys from room 13.......etc....JESS's awesome speech
*Teacher come in to start the class, tells everyone to be quiet
Jess's character puts up hand to complain about the kid be distracting, karena's character backs this up
*Teacher tells kid to go to principles office
*Bullies laugh "yeah, get out!"
*bullies go floppy, like puppets
SCENE 2 PLAYSCHOOL: Have pictures of playschool characters on powerpoint as a contrast to the happenings of the play
CHARACTERS:
-The kid (just a prop)
-Parent
-TV characters, puppeteers and puppets
The kid as a baby is placed in front of a tv. Turns TV on.
"Its Playschool, lalalala"
*Cross to germany! Puppeteer acts puppet tells story of the dirty jews
*Cross to America. Pupetteer acts puppet to tell story of the blacks
*Cross to Aus; captain cook and the aboriginals Cook kills abo in a rythym of 4 shots
SCENE 3 THE WITCH HUNT: Have moving flames come up on screen as the witch is burned.
CHARACTERS:
-The witch(kid)
-The Preist
- The deciples *Music plays
*Kid is collecting herbs in the forest (slowly paced)
*Kid sits and starts to take a soup with the herbs
*Deciples start walking down banging the sticks in time with the music
*They reach the kid, bend down and grab the kid
*Sticks transform into a cross and the kid is tied to the cross
*Priest starts reading the commandments, as each one is said, deciples and kid takes a step toward him
*"Though Shalt Not Perform Witchcraft", said a few times
*point: "Witch!" , "Guilty" "Burn Her"
*kid burns and dies
*Preist turns to deciple, convicts her of witchcraft, and she also dies
SCENE 4 WHERE THE BLOODY HELL ARE YA AD:

Person who beats up:
- Turban Head
- Indian
- Gay guy
- Muslim Woman
- Aboriginal
Snapshot scenes: Possibly have photos of places up on the screen as it might be harder to portray places now through ourselves??

*Sydney Opera House

Each depicted through use of bodies to create the shape of the site, or people at the site.

Kiwi: speaks in langauge
French: speaks in language
While speaking, hold up signs of what the topic is being said:

Racism
Invasion
Terrorism Add sign ideas!
SCENE 6: SPEECHES
*Lincoln speech
*Hitler comes in and kills Lincoln.....others "Hile Hitler" and salute him
*"the americans are coming"
*Luthur King speech....others "yeah, woo! etc"
*Assasinated
*Bush speech.....cameras, filming, microphone etc

Scenes are "rewound"
SCENE 7: ROMAN SCENE - COLLASEUM
"Caeser, caeser!!"
Caeser talks (to be written up....)

*Kid sits down on computer and starts to log on to msn
"Youre so stupid why to you even bother coming to school!"

FINAL SCENE: the kid facing the audience, gun to head and everyone dead. "i blame you", gunshot and lights out.
